This is not an anthem for Sunday painters. LYS is the fabric we’re unveiling—an exercise in pushing the boundaries of warp and weft. Through our practice, we’ve trained ourselves to capture the feeling of twilight: soft gradients, elusive tones, shifting light. We’ve translated light into fabric—and fabric into painting.
The title quotes Dagobert Peche, the eclectic Viennese designer of the Wiener Werkstätte, who once wished to paint freely, outside the demands of industry. Inspired by his vision, and by the idea of the designer as a total artist, we move across disciplines: from wardrobes to wallpaper, from textiles to interiors.
