Contemporary Artist Collaboration for the Modern Interiors
An emblematic object of the Arts and Crafts movement, the rug perfectly embodies the philosophy born from Morris, and we have always developed it with this principle in mind.
Part of the collection develops through a close collaboration with Caterina Frongia, an Italian artist whose work moves between art and textile practice. Rooted in the weaving traditions of Sardinia, her rugs are made using the ancient pibiones technique, a hand-operated grain weaving method that creates subtle raised patterns within the textile surface. Through this process, words, symbols, and geometric compositions become woven narratives, transforming the rug into a space of expression where tradition and contemporary language coexist.
