"Lido" placemat in Salt Pepper / Pain Brûlé

The Lido, is a tiny stretch of land between the venetian lagoon and the Adriatic sea. Well know for the Film Festival which the first edition was held in 1932, the island with a rich Art Noveau heritage and long tree-lined boulevards, became more populated during the 60’s with la Dolce Vita.
This coated linen placemat with its scalloped shape, is an homage at this relaxed atmosphere during the 1960s and add a vintage touch at any mise en place.

50% yarn-dyed linen 50% cotton, one side coated in polyurethane to ensure excellent stain-resistance and water-repellency. Made in Italy.

In case of stain, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. Be careful with highly pigmented coloring food; do not let the color penetrate the fabric, but clean immediately. These placemats doesn’t need to be washed often but they are machine washable on cold or cool with mild soap. No softener. No tumble dry. Iron on medium heat or steam on the revers side. Do not fold the placemat but just wrap it.
