Lido is a coated placemat in Light Blue / Brown, woven in linen and cotton. A polyurethane coating on one side gives the cloth stain resistance and water repellency.

The Lido is a tiny stretch of land between the Venetian lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. Known for the Film Festival, first held in 1932, the island with a rich Art Nouveau heritage and long tree lined boulevards, became more populated during the 1960s with la Dolce Vita. This coated linen placemat with its scalloped shape, is an homage to this relaxed atmosphere during the 1960s and adds a vintage touch to any mise en place.

For routine care, remove stains promptly with a soft cloth or nonabrasive sponge dampened with lukewarm water and, if needed, a mild neutral detergent.

care

Daily wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. Be careful with highly pigmented coloring food; do not let the color penetrate the fabric, but clean immediately with dish soap and cold water. Iron on medium heat or steam on the revers side. Do not fold the placemat but just wrap it.
