Shall We Dance

Perhaps not everyone notices that sitting around a table is a vertiginous dance. We dance. And so, we invite you to join us.

Hands passing salt and pepper, drinks and wine poured for the guests. We stand, we sit, we speak, we remain silent. A constant exercise in tenderness, unfolding through gestures, glances and exchanges.

Our first collaboration with Bianca Girardi has resulted in Shall We Dance, an animated short that explores, in the words of Germano Celant in his preface to Arts & Foods: “the art of cooking food and the rituals connected to it are the sources of expressive and communicative impulse.”

Bianca Girardi is an animation filmmaker and illustrator based in Veneto. Trained in Philosophy and Visual Arts at IUAV University of Venice, her work explores images, objects of affection and intimate memories. Her latest short film is Bocia (2025).

For the film, Bianca explored our table linen collections, drawing inspiration from our products and transforming them through her own visual language.
