The Chiocciolina pattern has been woven in a full field without borders to let the design flow in a more contemporary way. The two wool and cotton yarns run without creating contrast but only flashes of light as in a field in Spring time.
The collaboration with the textile workshop Fondazione Le Costantine allowed us to explore variations on the theme of the most classic motifs of the textile tradition, created by skillful hands interpreting the warp and weft. The colours have inspired us to interpret the surfaces, giving way to a more organic vision where the pattern remains hidden between the folds of light.
Each motif is created by hand on antique four-pedal looms.

For custom made orders, please specify your ideal measurement at our email, considering that the width of the looms is 170 cm, which defines one of the size option.

To ensure proper care of the rug, it is recommend the use of a specialized dry-cleaner. The best way is cold wash cleaning. Vacuum your rug regularly with reduced suction and a soft brush, but the best way to remove dust is shake it out of the window in a very Italian way!
For stains: remove the liquid or solid stains as quick as possible. Apply dilution of detergent and cold water with a damp sponge, then rinse with a cloth dampened in water.
